SpineAlign 13.5" Luxury Hybrid Mattress Highlights
- 3 Firmness options - choose your comfort level
- Multiple foam layers and coils create solid support
- Sleeps cool
- Low motion transfer
- Solid edge support
Layer 1 – 1.5” Energex foam is pressure relieving but responds quicker than visco foams. Energex was designed to bridge the gap between memory foam and latex by creating a foam that is both pressure relieving and responsive. It’s designed to draw heat away from your body for a cooler night’s sleep. Copper is added for antibacterial purposes.
Layer 2 – 2“ PrimeFLEX Is a hyper-elastic foam designed to be exceptionally responsive. It adapts to your body’s movements while providing support and comfort.
Layer 3 – 1” Visco-Elastic memory foam. This layer provides softness and conformability. It works in contrast to the first two more responsive layers. This combination allows sleepers to experience the distinctive benefits of all three foams.
Layer 4 – 8” MAX engineered pocketed coils offer additional support and stability. Unlike traditional innersprings, these coils respond independently and limit motion transfer.
Layer 5 – 1” of HD base foam provides extra support and stability.
All foams are CertiPUR certified to meet all US emissions safety standards.

Comfort / Firmness Options
No two people interpret comfort the same way. Our recommendations are based on generalities. Body Mass Index (BMI) ratios affect comfort and support levels. Larger individuals will be absorbed into a mattress more than someone with a lower BMI score. This makes most mattresses feel softer than how a lighter body type will perceive them. Age, physical condition and personal preference also play a role in determining the best feel for you.
On your back…
Most back sleepers require a firm to moderate feel. The idea is to stay in proper alignment but still have decent pressure relief. Even on your back, your body is not flat. So, be sure to allow for adequate pressure relief. Depending on personal preference, back sleepers should consider either the firm or medium. If you are an all over sleeper, the medium is the safest bet.
On your side…
Most but not all side sleepers will do well with the medium. This feel offers contouring comfort that accommodates the majority of sleep positions. That said, those with a high degree of pressure sensitivity may want to consider the soft. This option offers the most body hug for the shoulders and hips. The firm, is generally too rigid for most side sleepers.
On your stomach…
Stomach sleepers will typically require a firmer mattress. It’s important to not allow your back to dip too deep and cause lumbar pain. Lighter individuals will not sink into the mattress as far and may wish to consider the medium. We recommend stomach sleepers of all body types avoid the soft option.
