Allswell’s goal is to merge elements of quality, value, and style into one product. We’ll take a close look into all aspects of their latest mattress model.
The Allswell is a hybrid mattress that combines multiple layers of memory foam and pocketed coils to create a medium firmness. For those on a budget, it’s a solid, quality option.
The Allswell Luxe Hybrid is the company’s most substantial mattress thus far. While all models have been solid dollar values, This mattress offers greater support and increased longevity.
Pressing into the Allswell Luxe Hybrid Mattress
The Allswell Lux Hybrid’s built in topper is a combination of three different foams. While denser foams are available, this combination creates a nice contouring and pressure relief.
*Impression load deflection rating (ILD) is measured by pressing a 12-inch round disk into a 4-inch piece of foam until it presses 25% or one inch into the mattress surface. In layman’s terms, it measures firmness or softness.
The Allswell Hybrid mattress is designed to be a medium on the firmness scale. This feel is often marketed as a universal comfort option. It should appeal to most, but not all firmness preferences. No two people interpret comfort the same way due to a variety of factors.
Body Mass Index (BMI) ratios affect comfort and support levels. The Allswell is a smaller profile mattress. Larger individuals will be absorbed into this bed more than someone with a lower BMI score. This results in a softer feel than how a lighter body type will perceive it. Age, physical condition and personal preference also play a role in determining the best feel for you. Those with greater pressure sensitivities from injuries, arthritis or Fibromyalgia, may prefer a mattress with more body hug than what this mattress offers.
Sleep position is also a key factor in determining comfort. Here is what our trial revealed:
This mattress offers enough contouring to conform to the spine while maintaining proper alignment. It has a nice blend of support and pressure relief that should make it a popular choice for back sleepers. The Allswell Sleep Luxury Hybrid also offers a beefier construction than their 10” model called The Allswell. While both are exceptional values, the hybrid will provide better overall support for larger sleepers.
The Allswell Hybrids medium feel will provide enough pressure relief for most but not all sleepers. Allswell has done a nice job of providing the best of both qualities. Those with extreme pressure sensitivities may require more body hug than this mattress offers. However, it’s medium comfort feel that should be soft enough for the majority of side sleepers.
Unlike side sleepers, stomach sleepers require a bit more firmness. If you choose a mattress that is too soft, your lower back will dip and cause lumbar pain. This mattress has that not too firm, not too feel that should keep most stomach sleepers comfortable.
If you prefer a very soft or very hard bed, this mattress may not ne for you. Those looking either extreme will not find their needs met here.
Your order will be processed within 24 – 48 hours. Your delivery will arrive via UPS ground within 2 -7 days. This will vary slightly depending on your delivery zone. Once your order has been processed, Allswell will provide a tracking number so you can follow delivery’s progress. White glove in home delivery and set up is also available for $99. For a fee of $149, Allswell will provide white glove delivery, setup and removal of your old mattress.
You also have the option of waiving your 100 day comfort trial and pay no charge for removal of your old bedding. It’s an interesting proposition. But, one that you should consider carefully before deciding. A trial period provides good piece of mind when buying a mattress sight unseen.
The Allswell Hybrid mattress was relatively easy to bring into the home compared to some much heavier beds we’ve reviewed. But, white glove in home delivery and set up service is available if desired.
Once in the room it will be slept in, remove your mattress from its box. Place it on it’s platform prior to unwrapping. Cut through the first layer of plastic being careful not to damage the fabric topper during this process.
Your mattress will now begin to expand and take shape quickly. You can lay on your mattress within minute although full expansion may take a few hours.
*During winter weather, allow for a full 24 hours four expansion. Your mattress may have spent a day or two on an unheated truck. In this case, memory foam will need time to warm and expand to full capacity.
Note: It’s essential a Queen or King have a frame with a sturdy center support and additional legs on the ground. Over time, inferior frames can affect the support and longevity of your mattress.

We found the Allswell Luxe Hybrid to be a super value. It’s one of the best mattresses for the dollar we’ve reviewed. Of course, no one mattress is right for everyone. The hybrid is limited to only one firmness option. However, for those seeking that not too firm not too soft feel will find this mattress a solid option.
